Yorkshire asset based lenders raise £15,000 for Charity

Cerberus Group companies were delighted to support the first ever Yorkshire Asset Based Lending Charity Dinner which was held at The Queens Hotel, Leeds, in March of this year.

The black tie Dinner, in aid of the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal, was attended by over 350 professionals, including a number of Corporate Recovery Professionals, Law Firms and Invoice Financiers and was hosted by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration.

The evening, to celebrate the growth of the region’s asset based lending community, was a huge success and raised over £15,000 for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal.

Sarah Roscoe, Group Marketing Director who attended the event commented “The evening was a great opportunity for our team at Cerberus to network with other Yorkshire based professionals. Since opening our office in Leeds last year we have developed a number of relationships with Insolvency and Invoice Finance professionals in the region”.

Chris Silverwood, event organiser and partner at Ethos Corporate Finance, said: “The asset based lending market has grown rapidly over the past few years as ABL and invoice discounting have become the most available types of commercial and deal finance for many businesses”.
